Abstract- -This paper presents an automatic load segregation using plc. Heavy loads are often transported and handled in various industrial applications, such as manufacturing, mining, construction, and logistics. However, different types of heavy loads may require different methods of processing, storage, or disposal. Therefore, it is important to segregate heavy loads according to their characteristics, such as size, shape, weight, material, or function. This proposes an automatic material segregation system using PLC (programmable logic controller) to achieve this task. The system consists of three main components: a sensor unit, a controller unit, a relay unit and a segregation unit. The segregation unit performs the output actions based on the commands from the controller unit and directs the heavy loads to the corresponding bins or conveyors using actuators, such as DC motors, relays, solenoids, etc. The system is designed and implemented using SELPRO Version 5.4.3 and we can also implement by using software’s like Allen Bradley PLC and GX Works3 software. The system is tested and evaluated using different types of heavy loads and shows satisfactory performance in terms of accuracy, efficiency, and reliability. The system can be applied to various industrial scenarios where heavy load segregation is needed.

A Mathematical Study of the Structure of Cross-Ventilation Flow in an Isolated Cylindrical Building/strong>
Authors:- Patil Abhijit Sadashiv Shubhangi, Dr. Prabha S. Rastogi

Abstract- Cross-ventilation serves as an efficient means to expel pollutants and heat from buildings, requiring no energy consumption due to variations in wind pressure. The efficacy of ventilation is greatly influenced by the cross-ventilation flow’s structure. However, little thought has been paid to comprehending how the cross-section of a building affects the cross-ventilation flow structure. By statistically examining the cross-ventilation flow structure in a standalone cylindrical building, this study seeks to close this gap. When compared to published experimental data, the numerical simulation findings show a very small simulation error of 0.8% in the volume ventilation rate. This demonstrates how well the numerical approach predicts the flow of cross-ventilation in isolated buildings. Pressure loss decreases when air moves through the curved side walls of the cylindrical building, allowing for more air to enter. In contrast to a square building, this causes the oncoming jet to enter more horizontally. When Root-Mean-Square streamwise velocity and turbulence kinetic energy are analyzed, the square building exhibits more airflow fluctuation outdoors, whereas the cylindrical building exhibits more turbulence interior. Notably, there is an 8.3% improvement in the cylindrical building’s volume ventilation rate. In addition, the cylindrical building’s air exchange rate is 1.38 times higher than the square building’s.

Abstract- – This paper begins with a comprehensive analysis of the requirements
and specifications of a typical household’s power consumption. It then explores various photovoltaic (PV) panel technologies and battery storage options to optimize the system’s performance and reliability. The proposed solar based inverter system incorporates several key components, including solar panel, charge controllers, batteries, and inverter circuit. The solar panel is strategically positioned to capture maximum sunlight, and the charge controller regulates the charging process to prevent overcharging and ensure battery longevity. A battery bank stores excess solar energy for use during cloudy days or at night. The inverter converts DC power from the batteries into AC power compatible with home appliances. This paper highlights the design and development of clean, simple and cost-effective solar powered inverter for home appliances. The inverter uses MOSFET IRF540 as a switching device to convert the 24v to 220v. This design will contribute to sustainable energy solutions, reduce electricity bills, and minimize the carbon footprint of households. The results of this development effort demonstrate the feasibility of implementing renewable energy
sources for everyday residential needs.

Abstract- – Power system is prone to faults, because of disoperation of the system or by the natural disasters. This may be caused by damage to the components of power system leading to great tasked for their subrogation and cutting the power supply to customers. Different kinds of fault may occur in these lines. The over-current protection relay is the most extensively used component to safeguard power systems from the detrimental effects of faults. Wrong settings (pick-up value) in over-current relay parameters can lead to false tripping or even bypassing fault conditions which can lead to a catastrophe. Therefore, it is important to validate the settings of power protection equipment and to confirm its performance when subject to different fault conditions. The major purpose of this project is to simulate the operation of over-current relay and circuit breaker under different fault conditions in MATLAB, To analysis and studies the different faults and also declares the impact on distribution line.

Abstract- The accumulation of wastes of domestic and industrial processes in the nearby water bodies results in water pollution. The wastewater discharged into the water bodies are hazardous to environment and cause various health problems in human beings. Eutrophication is one such major environmental problem caused due to the discharge of nutrient rich wastewater into the nearby water bodies. Excessive pollutants including nutrients affect aquatic live sand environment in various ways. There are certain plants capable of removing pollutants from water. Phyto remediation is an alternate way to reduce nutrients from contaminated medium. Microalgae can be used for phytoremediation to reduce the nutrient content in the waste water due to the algae’s ability to assimilate nutrients into the cells. The microalga Chlorella vulgaris can utilize the nitrogen and phosphorus in wastewater for its growth. Hence in the present study, microalga Chlorella vulgaris was used to determine the removal efficiencies of pollutants, such as chemical oxygen demand (COD), total nitrogen (TN) and total phosphorus (TP). The Chlorella vulgaris was cultured in the shake flasks that contained wastewater in the presence of artificial light in the laboratory. It removes the maximum percentage of TN and TP were within 82.1% and 90.9%, respectively. The Chlorella vulgaris which could not only bioremediate the waste water, butyl so produce plenty of the microalga biomass that could be used for the exploitation of fertilizers, feed additives and biofuels. The optimum detention period for the maximum phytoremediation is found to vary within 10 and 14 days. Based on the laboratory scale study under controlled environment, it can be concluded that Chlorella vulgaris has the potential to reduce nutrient content of waste water.

Role of Biofertilizer in Farming/strong>
Authors:-Ms. Rama Median, Mr. Sachin Sharma, Dr. Rahul Arya

Abstract- India boasts a drastically rich variety of flora, many of which are of medical importance and unfortunately are disappearing fast from our rich resource due to over-exploitation. Thus, it has become urgent to manage the traditional medicinal plant resource. There is a greater demand for uniform medicines made from medicinal plants, which requires mass propagation of crops. This is done through plant tissue culture strategies. Conservation and domestication of endangered and threatened species has become a very critical issue in a global perspective. Habitat destruction, fragmentation, and degradation plus human-wildlife conflict contribute to the extinction of many species. This review will give the reader an overview of the conservation and domestication status around endangered and threatened species, their successes and challenges. Future directions for conservation and domestication, including technology, community engagement, and policy support, are also discussed. The studies conducted were under the aegis of the setting up National Medicinal Plants Board (NMPB) New Delhi during 2002 2013 having in-situ and ex-situ conservation projects through diverse State Forest Departments. Besides, there were R&D projects carried out by the ICAR, ICFRE, CSIR, DBT, and SAUs. Contributions of NMPB have been highlighted in conservation and cultivation of endangered and threatened medicinal plant species in India. There are various causes for which these species get endangered in their own habitats like Habitat loss due to diversion of forest land, biotic and abiotic interference in forest areas, and Unsustainable harvesting of so-called medicinal and aromatic plants. Many projects have been funded by NMPB for conservation and cultivation of endangered as well as threatened medicinal plants.
