Abstract: In recent years, the Internet has become an important part of daily life for people all over the world. On the other hand, with the increase in online activities, cyber crimes are also increasing. Cybersecurity has made great strides in recent years to keep up with the rapid changes in cyberspace. Cybersecurity refers to the procedures a country or organization can use to protect its assets and information in cyberspace. Twenty years ago, the term "cybersecurity" was not recognized by the public. Cybersecurity affects not only individuals but also organizations or governments. In recent years, everything has become digital using various technologies such as cybernetics, cloud computing, smartphones and Internet of Things technology. Cyber attacks raise concerns about privacy, security and financial compensation. Cybersecurity is a set of technologies, processes and practices designed to prevent attacks, crimes and unauthorized access to networks, computers, processes and system information. The main purpose of this article is to provide an overview of cyber security types, why cyber security is important, cyber security methods, cyber security tools and cyber security issues. Cybersecurity protects the data and integrity of the organization's network or computing assets to protect them from threats throughout the life of a cyber attack.
