Abstract-A widespread problem in agriculture, food waste impedes sustainability initiatives and increases food insecurity. The origins and scope of food waste in agricultural systems are examined in this study, with an emphasis on preventative measures. It draws attention to cutting-edge methods, tools, and regulations that can be used to cut down on food waste at different points in the agricultural supply chain. This study highlights the potential of these tactics to improve food security and advance sustainable farming practices by looking at case studies and best practices.
