Abstract- The clay In this paper, the influence of incorporating organic and inorganic fibers into geopolymer concrete paver blocks was studied. One organic fiber, one inorganic fiber and hybrid fibers were used in the concrete. Coir fiber was used as organic fiber. Polypropylene fiber was used as inorganic fiber. Geopolymer concrete pavers were cast and mixed with different percentages of fibers into the concrete. And the durability properties such as permeability and sorptivity test results were analyzed in geopolymer concrete pavers. Test results of geopolymer concrete pavers mixed with fibers were compared and analyzed with geopolymer concrete pavers without fibers and conventional paver blocks. Hexagonal pavers of size 27 x 23.5 x 5 cm were cast as per IS15658:2006. Low calcium flyash of class F was used as main source material. Quarry rock dust was utilized as fine aggregate. Sodium hydroxide and sodium silicate were used as stimulator solution.M30 grade of concrete was cast with 16 M concentration of sodium hydroxide. Specimens were cured under elevated temperature of 90℃ for 48 hours. Test results shows that specimens cast with hybrid fibers ie., with polypropylene and coir fibers results better in durability properties compared to normal conventional paver blocks and geopolymer concrete pavers blended only with polypropylene fibers. Also geopolymer concrete pavers without fibers results poor in durability properties test results.
